Protecting the ocean is not a slogan here — it’s a responsibility. This month we introduced our Reef Care Program, a set of sustainability practices designed to support marine life and reduce the resort’s footprint on the surrounding reef ecosystem.

Key changes include updated snorkeling and diving guidance (to protect coral and sea grass), increased availability of reef-safe sunscreen at key locations, and new educational touchpoints led by our marine team. We also introduced stronger waste-reduction steps in select operations, aiming to minimize plastic use and improve sorting and recycling processes.

For guests, the program is simple: a few mindful habits that make a measurable difference — no coral contact, no feeding marine animals, and respecting protected zones. We’re grateful to every guest who helps us keep the reef healthy, vibrant, and beautiful for years to come.
